Our organization is a local non-profit trade association consisting of local professional home builders and associate members, which represent businesses related to the home building industry.

Service to our members is our primary emphasis, including offering resources which will help our members conduct their businesses with confidence and professionalism. We support the growth of the building industry and the quality of our communities through active involvement in community affairs, advocating concern for the environment, while maintaining a positive climate for growth.

Chief among our goals is providing and expanding opportunities for all consumers to have safe, decent, and affordable housing. Our association is also affiliated with Home Builders Association of Tennessee and National Home Builders Association.

Founded in 1942, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is a federation of more than 850 state and local builders associations throughout the United States.

We were organized in January, 1972 and serve an eleven county region.
